The Bioregional Group was founded in 2005 to connect people to each by connecting them to the place they live in the Quinnipiac Bioregion.

We are inspired by the work of bioregional thinkers like Peter Berg, Kirkpatrick Sale, Thomas Berry, and Wendell Berry.

We maintain relationships with many local eco-allies such as Gather New Haven, New Haven Urban Design League and New Haven Environmental Justice Network, as well as regional, national and global eco-allies such as the Planet Drum Foundation and the Titanic Lifeboat Academy.
